Baby's First Picture!
Hi all!
At the request of a few friends, we've started a blog to keep all of our people - near and far - updated on the progress of this new little person. It is so hard to be away from everyone during this exciting time, but I hope this is just one tool that can help us keep in touch. Please use this space to comment, send messages and suggestions and communicate with each other. Simply click on the comment link below and type away. Don't forget to identify yourself. Below is an ultrasound picture from Sept. 6, 2005, at 13 weeks, 3 days. The baby was quite active, so we were fortunate to get a great shot!
Week 16 developments*:
Baby's Age: 14 Weeks
Baby's Size (head to rump) this week: About 4.3 to 4.7 inches
Weight: Approximately 2.75 ounces
Right now the baby would fill the size of an open palm and fingers

Hi guys!
I am really excited about this Baby Blog, and trust me I am going to read it weekly to stay up-to-date. I am going to have to do it in secret though because my finacee is afraid I am going to get ideas. I told him not to worry because being cheerleading coach is the best birth control I could ask for.
I am so proud of the two of you for uh.... getting the job done. Keep me posted so that I can feel like I am there.
(Happy Belated Birthday Jeremiah. We should try to party it up again some day.)

CONGRATS to the both of you!!!! I was so excited when I found out you were pregnant!!!! I was there when you were born, Kalia.....and now you are all grown up and having a baby of your own...it seems like only yesterday when you were born...lol....ok, well at least the other day!! Kalia, you be sure to introduce him/her early to Mos Def and quality tv. Ok, and Sex in the City. How about the show where Geena Davis is president!? Baby Mozart is all well and good, but the dude went crazy and deaf. Role models, people!

This is such a great idea,but what else should I expect from a J-SCHOOLER always with the creatives...the baby is so tiny now... the pic is so cool you are a computer wizard
just a suggestion: you can always name the baby KIM because it is a girl and boy name (smile)

Shouts out to Jeremiah & Kalia for having the cutest baby in utero!!! I think that we should make this like a reality TV show and vote on the baby's name.
I think Azizah is a good name because it souds like Kalia but it as an 'H' like jeremiah... it's the perfect blend. Other names that I like..
